Theresa May telephone call with Greek counterpart Alexis Tsipras

British Prime Minister Theresa May reiterated her government’s commitment to assisting the Cyprus settlement process in any way possible during a telephone call with her Greek counterpart Alexis Tsipras on Tuesday, according to Downing Street.

A Number 10 spokesperson confirmed that the call focused on the upcoming Cyprus settlement talks in Geneva.

“The Prime Minister agreed with Prime Minister Tsipras that the two leaders in Cyprus had made excellent progress in advancing discussions, and discussed how to maintain this momentum in the forthcoming Geneva talks.
